Green and sustainable development serves as a key driver for corporate innovation. Since its inception, Yuhu Cold Chain established a PMO working group responsible for implementing carbon reduction goals. Simultaneously, we have made significant investments in new energy solutions, promoting the replacement of traditional energy sources with green electricity. This includes the integration of new energy refrigerated vehicles, smart charging stations, and solar power systems, achieving cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and energy conservation. Through increasing the proportion of green electricity usage, we are progressing toward net-zero carbon emissions.

Yuhu Cold Chain (Guangzhou) has completed the installation of 35,000 sqm of solar panels, reducing carbon dioxide equivalent emissions by nearly 3,000 tonnes annually. The facility has successfully obtained certification: ISO9001 Quality Management System (QMS), ISO14001 Environmental Management System(EMS), and ISO45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&S)

Yuhu Cold Chain has established a vast network of "Green Warehouse Cluster" showcasing its commitment to sustainable development. All six of its projects - located in Guangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, Meishan, Jieyang, and Changsha - have certified with First-Grade (Three-Star) Green Warehouse certification - the highest level of recognition for sustainable warehousing in China. Further validating their environmental excellence, five of these facilities - in Guangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, Meishan, and Jieyang - have also received the "Hong Kong Green and Sustainable Contribution Award."

Since its establishment, Yuhu has contributed over HK$450 million to the cause of charity in medical research, education, culture, art, social welfare and beyond.

Yuhu Cold Chain has taken a leading role in the industry, actively enhancing Chinese enterprises' technological influence in global cold chain logistics. We have deployed experts for long-term involvement in developing international standards, and achieving significant milestones.

In 2024, Yuhu Cold Chain demonstrated its industry leadership by taking the leading role of drafting national and international standards. "Evaluation Indicators for Low-Carbon Cold Storage" officially released in November, which provides crucial support for the cold chain logistics industry in addressing carbon reduction goals.  In the same month, "Requirements for Contactless Delivery Services in Cold Chain Logistics" was published, marking China's first international standard in the cold chain logistics sector. In December 2024, another international standard we participated in drafting - "Cold Chain Logistics Services in B to B Sector – Requirements and Guidelines for Storage and Transport" - was published, further advancing the standardization of global cold chain logistics technology.
