On January 22, a cross-border industrial exchange event was held in Huadu, Guangzhou. Over 70 members of the Ministry of Commerce Foreign Aid Master’s Program (Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics) Enterprise Study Tour Group, hailing from 24 countries, paid an in-depth visit to Yuhu Cold Chain (Guangzhou) Trading Centre. They conducted an immersive study of this benchmark for the modern cold chain industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, experienced firsthand the high-quality development of China’s cold chain logistics, and held in-depth discussions on international agricultural product trade and global supply chain cooperation.
On-Site Inspection: Witnessing China’s Efficiency from the Chinese Dinner Table
Despite the winter season, the atmosphere at the inspection site was vibrant. The delegation visited core functional areas including the trading hall, front-store-back-warehouse zone, logistics area and fully automated high-bay cold storage, gaining a thorough understanding of Yuhu Cold Chain’s innovative practices and operational achievements in high-standard Trading Centre construction, smart warehouse management and integrated supply chain services. In-Depth Dialogue: Jointly Mapping a New Blueprint for International Trade Cooperation
Subsequently, the two sides held constructive exchanges on Yuhu Cold Chain’s global business practices. In her speech, Wan Yina, Dean of the School of Foreign Languages at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, pointed out that this visit to Yuhu Cold Chain is a vivid practice of industry-university-research integration. She hoped that the students would bring the Chinese experience they had seen and learned back to their home countries, and act as bridges for advancing global industrial synergy and promoting friendly cooperation.
Zhang Chunhua, Vice Chairman of Yuhu Cold Chain (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He emphasized that Yuhu Cold Chain has always upheld the philosophy of openness and cooperation, actively integrated itself into the global supply chain system, and is committed to providing stable and reliable platform support for high-quality agricultural products from all countries to access China’s vast market and share development opportunities through high-standard infrastructure and innovative service models.
At the seminar, Zhang Chunhua systematically introduced the import and export business of Yuhu Cold Chain (Guangzhou) Trading Centre. He elaborated in detail on how the Trading Centre leverages the geographical and policy advantages of the Greater Bay Area to integrate customs clearance, warehousing, logistics and other links, providing enterprises with efficient and convenient one-stop supply chain solutions. Zhang Chunhua stated: *"Yuhu Cold Chain aims to further optimize services and deepen international cooperation, so as to bring more high-quality global food ingredients into China and also make high-quality Chinese food benefit the whole world."*

Dynamic Interaction: Exchanges Ignite the Spark of Cooperation
The interactive session brought the event to a climax. Students from Bangladesh, Tanzania, Syria, Sierra Leone, Namibia and other countries actively raised questions combined with the industrial realities of their home countries, covering topics such as the application of cold chain infrastructure and digital technologies, cross-border supply chain support, and marketing and promotion channels for agricultural product exports to China. Zhang Chunhua responded to each question one by one, sharing practical experience and development suggestions.
Carlos, a student from Mozambique, said during the exchange: *"This visit has made me deeply feel the vitality of China’s high-quality development and the sincerity of its open cooperation. We hope to cooperate with Yuhu Cold Chain to bring our country’s characteristic products into the Chinese market, and also look forward to carrying out more practical cooperation in supply chains, infrastructure and other fields."*
Ntoloki, a student from Tanzania, took the initiative to introduce Tanzania’s distinctive and high-quality products, believing that there is great potential for cooperation between China and Tanzania in the cross-border circulation of agricultural products.
This event not only allowed the delegation to closely appreciate the modernization level and innovative models of China’s cold chain industry, but also sowed new seeds for promoting mutually beneficial cooperation between China and various countries in supply chains, trade and other fields. Looking ahead, China will continue to adhere to high-level opening up, share its super-large market, provide the world with high-quality, stable and reliable product supply, and deepen international cooperation in industrial and supply chains.
